Color mixing is all about combining different colors to create new ones. There are two main types: subtractive color mixing and additive color mixing.

1. Additive Color Mixing: This is used with light. The primary colors are red, green, and blue (RGB). When you combine these colors, you get white light. For example:

• Red + Green = Yellow
• Red + Blue = Magenta
• Green + Blue = Cyan

2. Subtractive Color Mixing: This is used with pigments or dyes (like in painting). The primary colors are cyan, magenta, and yellow (CMY). When you mix these colors, you get a darker color because the pigments absorb (subtract) more light. For example:

• Cyan + Magenta = Blue
• Cyan + Yellow = Green
• Magenta + Yellow = Red
